Daughter of ex-NFL quarterback Mark Rypien leads Seattle Mist in Lingerie League Football, Kent.

Angela Rypien, daughter of former NFL and Washington State University quarterback Mark Rypien, is expected to quarterback the Seattle Mist in the 2011-12 season of the women's Lingerie Football League.

Mark Rypien was the most valuable player of Super Bowl XXVI in 1992 as he led the Washington Redskins over the Buffalo Bills 37-24.

The Mist return to the ShoWare for their third season. All games will be broadcast live on MTV2.

Seattle also plays road games Sept. 30 at the Green Bay Chill and Dec. 16.

Ticket prices at the ShoWare are $85 for field level; $55 for lower sideline; $35 for party zone; $25 for sideline; and $10 for upper sideline.
So, it looks like US football runs in the family and now the females can take part!

If you have never come across the lingerie league before, then its easy to dismiss as a bunch of models running around aimlessly, to give titillation to the male audience.
Look a little closer and you will see professional athletes who hit hard. Thus, view it as a female game, just like female rugby, but with the added bonus of great looking women in lingerie. Something for everyone........see it makes sense!!
Still not convinced, then ask a lady friend to don a crash helmet, shoulder padding and holding an America  football and ask them to run into you as hard as they can.
